Make reading comfortable
- Writing size
- Adjust the editor’s typography and reading width in Settings. Use system text and zoom settings where supported by your device.
- Six themes
- Choose warm light, paper, coastal, rose, forest dark, or midnight colors. Pick the contrast that works best for you.
- Native editing
- Cub uses the platform’s text controls for selection, undo, spellcheck, and input methods. Markdown source mode keeps the underlying text available.
- Navigation
- Notes, tags, tasks, outline, and backlinks provide multiple routes through the notebook. Controls expose labels and state to assistive technology.

What has been reviewed
Prior Mac and iPhone/iPad Simulator checks exercised VoiceOver labels, keyboard navigation, common editor tasks, Settings, and larger-text layouts. Those checks led to fixes for focus, labels, contrast, and clipping.
We have not completed physical iPad testing. Coverage of a particular screen or release does not establish every workflow on every device. App Store accessibility feature claims remain subject to the current candidate’s common-task review.
VoiceOver, Voice Control, keyboard support, text scaling, contrast, and reduced motion are assessed separately. We do not treat one as proof of the others.
Tell us about a barrier
Send the device and operating-system version, Cub version/build, theme and text size, the assistive technology you use, and the steps that block your work. A small disposable example can help.
